Branding and communication strategy

Project Description

The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) is a global, professional, medical membership organisation. Based in elegant Georgian buildings in the heart of Edinburgh the facilities offer unique, historic venue spaces sprinkled with medical symbolism and a modern 300 seat conference centre. Utilised internally for College events the venue is also available for external client hire, but had no clear brand identity or marketing strategy.

What was the project?

Working closely with the in-house graphic designer, we created a brand and communications strategy to market the venue, quite distinct from the main business of the College. The brand reflected the elegance, quality and history of the building, targeting upmarket clients in both corporate and personal sectors. The communications plan incorporated digital marketing including web, social media, advertising and e-marketing, complementing the offline print advertising, literature and exhibition support materials.
