RCPE launches new website marketing their excellent venue

As marketing adviser at The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE), Fiona has been involved in developing the strategy to create an elegant stand-alone website www.rcpe-venue.co.uk, accompanying literature, press advertising and social media.
A unique historic venue RCPE offers a flexible range of Georgian and Victorian rooms with stunning architecture perfect for dinners, weddings and receptions, through to a modern 300 seat conference centre and meeting facilities.
The creative design was developed in-house at RCPE by Meredith Wilkie with the site build by ignite-your brand. Excellent team.
Fiona takes on new role as Marketing Adviser

Fiona Melvin-Farr is delighted to announce her appointment as Marketing Adviser to The Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh (RCPE). This is a part-time role and Fiona will continue to offer consultancy services to a range of clients.
A new role established at RCPE, Fiona will be providing professional marketing expertise and practical support to teams across the College. The RCPE is a professional membership organisation, which aims to meet the educational needs of doctors, represent doctors and promote public health.
Fiona stated, "I am delighted to be taking up this new position and look forward to working with colleagues to develop and promote the services of the College to members and market the historic buildings at 9 Queen Street, Edinburgh for external events."

Fiona re launches her marketing consultancy with renewed energy.
For the last few months Fiona Melvin-Farr has taken time out from working with clients to project manage her own house renovations. With the work almost completed, bar tripping over the painter, she is delighted to now be working again with her long term client direction.

Fiona Melvin-Farr presented a straight forward approach to strategic marketing planning to a business audience
Business Scotland 2007 held in the Corn Exchange, Edinburgh is the region's premier business to business exhibition for entrepreneurs and established businesses. Fiona was invited to talk at the seminar program and presented a concise paper "Strategic Marketing Planning - What's it all About?"
Taking the participants through the importance of planning and providing a step by step guide on the principals, introduced them to some tried and tested methods that they could apply to their own businesses.
Fiona commented, "I was delighted to be invited to talk at this event and it was great meeting so many people after the seminar and hearing about their businesses and marketing successes."
One attendee commented, "I think that most businesses - certainly mine - have a good understanding of what they should be doing but have either forgotten the principles, or forgotten to make time for the principles of planning. You've given me the kick start needed!"

New megavenue C SoCo is set to accelerate the rejuvenation of Edinburgh’s Old Town this summer
The world was watching when, on 7 December 2002, flames engulfed the creative heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Five years on the artistic legacy of this area will be acknowledged in a new venture from Festival force C venues. Ahead of the hotly anticipated SoCo redevelopment by Whiteburn Projects, the block spanning Chambers Street, South Bridge and Cowgate will be reborn as a major arts complex for Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007.
